The Finish Telecom Giant Nokia recently introduced Lumia 900 which  is the most advanced smartphone from the current Lumia series. The new Nokia Lumia 900 has a sleek design and is equipped with a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, a 1,4Ghz single-core processor and an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens.

The Lumia 900 runs on Windows Phone 7.5 mango operating system which has introduced a special feature named as People Hub. This app has removed Nokia's traditional contact info listing. It allows you to be in constant contact with your friends and family. Everything is linked together: contact information, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Windows Live. You can easily view all photos that your contact has placed on one of these social media sites. That is not all; the Nokia Lumia 900 also shows your full contact history in a list.

FULL PHONE SPECIFICATION:

Display:  It has 800*480 pixel resolution which seems to be average for a smart phone. The front is dominated by the clear 4.3-inch AMOLED display which is a great boost to the display on traditional LCD display type. The start screen is usually the traditional Nokia's icon. Nokia's  tile icons can be moved around to any position on the start screen. One start screen runs downwards. Newly installed applications are added automatically to the Nokia Lumia 900’s start screen.

While the resolution is less than expected , the ClearBlack filter noticeably cuts back on glare, which makes both indoor and outdoor reading a much better experience. Overall the display of Lumia 900 is one of the best in smart phone market.

Design:
Lumia 900 has an eye popping design built with neat polycarbonate body made from one peace. It has the body dimension of 127x68.58x11.43 mm. With a 4.3  inch display it looks pretty good. The camera quality is damn good at 8.1 mega pixel but shoots 720p video rather than 1080p.

It has a sleek smooth back on which the carl zeiss Tessar lens refrence and nokia emblem is printed other than digital camera.
Even at the massive weight of 159 gms. the phone is quite handy.

Apps and connectivity:
Lumia 900 comes with lots of pre loaded apps. The Nokia Lumia 900 has a Microsoft mobile internet browser: Internet Explorer 9 in combination with the Bing search engine. The browsing is quite good as it displays pages well but it supports traditional search methods. Bing is yet to introduce voice activated search.
This smart phone quite trendy among business-on-the-go followers as it comes with preloaded mobile version of Microsoft office which supports word, excel and powerpoint. Microsoft One-note is also supported.
Email: It supports all email accounts and provides facility to access any number of email accounts at one time. Now that is really good. You can link your email id's to social networks directly.
Photo Editor: Since July 2012, Nokia has provided software updates for its image editor named Camera Extras. This gives access to many extra photo functions, such as Smart Group Shot, Action Shot, Self-Timer and Panorama. You can edit your photos with Creative Studio and add any special effects, create funny faces.
Photo Sharing: A major drawback of Lumia 900 is absence of photo and video transfer through Bluetooth. These can be transferred via PC or can be shared. Photo transfer the photos  to a PC can  be done via Microsoft Zune, which os available for download at the Zune website. While Sharing of photos can be done via Microsoft SkyDrive, it lowers the picture resolution.
App Store Online: There are two App Stores available via the start screen, one by Nokia, and one by Microsoft. The tile 'Amazing apps' leads to the Nokia app store, where 'local apps', are differentiated from 'recommended apps', 'top games' and 'on sale'. There is a separate button available named 'Surprise me'. By clicking this and shaking the phone back and forth, the phone selects an app that you can then download.
