Amid of festive week, release of bodyguard movie starring Salman khan and kareena kapoor has rocked box office. Salman Khan has once again proved his dominance on bollywood. Director Siddique has brilliantly used Salman factor in the film Bodyguard, which is remake of Malayalam movie with the same name. Salman's body lurching action is the key attraction of the film.
The movie has a simple and entertaining story. The first half of the film is simple going and it runs with a routine Bollywood masala. But the movie turns serious with a twist at the end of the first half. Director has showed the best part of movie in the second half with a twist in the climax which is shocking.
The film's first look and theatrical trailer was unveiled on 21 July 2011. Bodyguard was released on Eid, 31 August 2011 across 2,250 screens in 70 Indian cities and with 482 prints across the overseas territory.
Salman khan in his symbolic style, has announced that he will get his personal bodyguard, Shera, to launch the theatrical trailer of his bumper Eid release. Shera has been Salman's bodyguard for years and has also once vowed to face bullets for Salman. Salman khan has also sported the security man's uniform brand owned by Shera.“I will call it the destiny of the relationship that Shera has nurtured with Salman over the years,” says Shahani about Shera, who has been with the superstar for almost a decade now.
With the release of back to back hit films, Salman has shut down all his critics and proved his worth as a superstar. Bodyguard has risen his status many fold in the industry.
