Google's latest doodle have featured soccer is an animated game which allows users to play soccer ( only a part of it). It has collected overwhelming response from netizens. football field, Google came up with yet another interactive doodle on
Friday with the London 2012 Football game. This is the fifteenth and
Google’s fourth playable doodle after Hurdles, Basketball and Canoe
during the ongoing biggest sporting event.
It identifies users as goalkeeper trying to defend the goalpost while a player is hitting the balls at equal intervals. Using either the keyboard or the mouse or even a combination of both, you can play the football doodle on your laptops or computers. Space bar is use to jump and arrow keys to move left and right. On the top right of the doodle score board shows the number of goals defended by you while the board that counts number of goals scored against you can be
seen on the top left. The game’s over at three strikes.Depending on the number of strikes defended, you are given star rating at the end.
It is the third of its kind (Soccer category) to make it to the list of Google doodles featured during the Olympics.
The first soccer related Google doodle was posted during the Sydney Olympics in 2000. The doodle depicted a kangaroo kicking the second O of the Google logo shown as a soccer ball.

Olympic 2004, with a goalkeeper in traditional Greek dress trying to stop a
soccer ball headed his way.
Earlier, Google had
celebrated London 2012 Olympics events like Pole Vault, Shot Put, Table
Tennis, Hockey, Artistic Gymnastics men's Rings, Fencing, Diving,
Archery, Synchronised Swimming and Javelin with a different doodle theme
for every sport.
