Following a multi-agency pitch as a part of the review of its media duties, IDBI Bank has retained Maxus as its media AoR and appointed Mudra Max to handle its Out of Home, Below the line, Direct and Digital businesses. Maxus was first appointed by IDBI in 2005.
The pitch was called in March and was part of the tender which IDBI Bank floats every three years as per applicable government guidelines. The two agencies will be resposible for handling its various sectors which includes IDBI Bank Ltd, IDBI Capital Management Services Ltd, IDBI Intech Ltd and IDBI Assets Management Ltd.
Both the agencies and the bank refrained from commenting on the size of the business but sources close to the development told BestMediaInfo.com that IDBI has earmarked Rs.50-60 crore as media spend on TV, Print and Radio medium while the account size of OOH, BTL, Direct & Digital spend is estimated at Rs.30 crore.
