Within 3 years of 26/11 attack, Mumbai has been terrorized again. Serial Bomb blast struck Mumbai wednesday (13 july) evening. Three serial blast occurred sequentially at 6:30 pm, 6:45 pm and 7 pm. The target was Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House and the Kabutarkhana area of Dadar West in order. Both Zaveri Bazaar and Kabutarkhana were also targeted in the 1993 serial blasts. Till updates, 21 people have been reported dead and over hundred injured.
In a span of 20 years, this was 13th attack on the city which shows Mumbai as a soft terror target. After the attack city has came to a standstill and people have been brutally terrorized. Amid the chaos, phonelines were jammed, traffic movement restricted and Mumbaikars stranded.
But this time a different type of society have come ahead for the help. Social networking sites have proved a major relief for the victims and stranded citizens. Social networking sites users such as twitter are updating the websites with vital information they received on the Mumbai blasts. They are helping in spreading the much needed call for help.
